We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to rally your mates to buy tickets to your Parlour gig. But don't stress! We have a few options to help your gig go ahead if you don't hit your minimum ticket sales in time.
- Purchase the remaining tickets - This is the most sure-fire way for your Parlour Gig to go ahead. Whatever you sell in the days leading up to the gig will be reimbursed back to you.
- Ask the Artist to play for a lesser fee - If more than 50% of tickets have been sold, you can opt to ask the Artist to play for a lesser fee. This is entirely up to the artists and whether it's worth their time and travel. If they agree, the gig can go ahead. To sell additional tickets, you may also open your gig to the public. Email us at email@example.com for more info on this.
If none of these options are suitable, the gig will be cancelled and all ticket buyers will be refunded.
We do as much as we can to get every Parlour Gig to ahead, however, gigs do fall through from time to time.
If it's ok with the artist, we can open gigs up to the public by putting them on our gig guide.
This can help with ticket sales, but by no means guarantees your gig will go ahead.
The promotion and ticket sales of the gig remain the responsibility of the host.
Parlour allows every Artist to opt into a 10 ticket deposit for each Parlour gig, in order to protect both Artists & Hosts. Read more about Artist Booking & Cancellation Policies here.
