We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to rally your mates to buy tickets to your Parlour gig. But don't stress! We have three options to help your gig go ahead if you don't hit your ticket target 5 days from your gig date.
- Open the gig up to the public - There are a lot of music fans in the Parlour Community who love coming along to Parlour Gigs. It’s a fast, easy way to sell those extra tickets and you'll make some new friends.
- Pay the difference* - If you're not comfortable having strangers in your house, the second option is to buy the rest of the tickets yourself. This is the most sure-fire way for your Parlour Gig to go ahead. Whatever you sell in the days leading up to the gig
*In some instances, Featured Artists require a hosts credit card in order for a gig date to be awarded.
With these particular cases, we do have to take payment for remaining tickets 5 days from gig day.
However, you will be reimbursed for any tickets you sell within that 5 day period.
- Ask the Artist to play for a lesser fee - If more than 50% of tickets have been sold, you can opt to ask the Artist to play for a lesser fee. This is entirely up to the artists and whether it's worth their time and travel. If they agree, the gig can go ahead.
If none of these options are suitable, the gig will be cancelled and all ticket buyers will be refunded.
We do as much as we can to get every Parlour Gig to ahead, however, gigs do fall through from time to time.
If you have booked a featured artist, you will be required to provide your credit card details on booking. Your card will not be charged unless there are tickets remaining 5 days out from gig. Whatever you sell in the 5 days leading up to your gig, either by opening to the public or via your own private promotion, will be reimbursed to you after the gig.
For Featured Artist bookings you may be charged a cancellation fee. You will be advised when you book the gig with us if this applies to your gig.
